Guide to choose a Web Hosting Plan

Before choose a Hosting you must know the meaning of their features.

Disk Storage or Disk Space: The amount of space available for upload or store data online in your site. 1GB= 1024 MB (comparative: a normal CD-data have 700 MB). How much space do you need? Is relative... if you'll upload just data (text, images, flash, etc...) about your project, you don't need too much, 500 MB or less is OK. If you want upload music, video, many online items, etc or your project have many pages and things to show or sell, you need much more space.

Monthly Data Transfer: The movement of data when a visitor is looking, downloading or doing anything in your site. Like the disk space, this item is relative and depends on visitor demand and things you'll upload. If you'll get many visitors like a forum, you must have a high monthly data transfer, the same if you upload large files like videos or music. If you have a simple page just with text and images, you don't need too much.

Domain Name: Your own adress in the web: "www.yoursite.com". Hosting Companies also register that if you want. Many of them do it for free when you choose any plan.

Email Accounts: Your own mails accounts like "info@yoursite.com" "yourname@yoursite.com" etc...

Site Builder: You have a easy software included to build your site, with many templates and styles to choose.
